Five minutes after a demonstration of the Paradox Process technique in 1988 Ben knew he was meant to learn it. Something that had plagued him emotionally for weeks was completely alleviated in a matter of minutes. He discovered within him new realms of consciousness, perception, peace, awareness, clarity, insight and wisdom in which the world occurred newly magical and fascinating. He was enthralled with possibilities he had never imagined. He was trained to coach the Paradox Process.  

Since 1989 when he discovered through a simple experiment that he had a proclivity for sensing subtle energy flow in the body, Ben has been studying and practicing numerous techniques for improving the quality of life for himself and others by relieving stress mentally and physically, and discovering the freedom that comes from being connected to the true self deep within us all. Shortly thereafter, with a fellow seeker he developed his own energy healing technique, became Reiki certified and has worked with hundreds of clients ever since.  

Ben started out many years ago as a performer with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Theatre after garnering an assistantship at SUNY Binghamton (where he performed as an actor, taught acting classes, was a stage carpenter and electrician, made leaps and bounds with his poetry under the teaching of Larry Woiwode), and graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. He was always conscious of and fascinated by the performing arts’ capacity to be sociologically and psychologically therapeutic. While an undergraduate he and his friends invented an experiential game, which for him was a compelling demonstration of the possibility of that therapeutic quality. As a graduate student he noticed much of experimental theatre strove for the same impact through attempts at audience participation.  

As a healer, he understands that the quality and longevity of healing can be impacted by the level and depth of participation by the healee, just as he had experienced with audiences. Ben has also taught other college level theatre courses.  He has written, directed, performed, and been on the board of directors of a theatre company in NYC. He has also had the privilege of having a few poems published via small presses.  

He is a Reiki Master, and has been certified in advanced clinical hypnotherapy in the past.  He also spent time singing and playing percussion with musicians in the NYC area,

now combining his intuitive and musical talents by doing sound baths. 

After working with Mexican shaman Edgar Delgado and his teacher Marivi de Teresa, Ben began teaching workshops on shamanism with their permission using the concepts and exercises he learned from them. This approach was closely related to the work of Carlos Castaneda (dreaming, recapitulation, tensegrity).  

After discovering an intuitive talent resulting from his history of performance, musical inclination and healing background, Ben has most recently been performing sound baths in the greater Boston area.

Ben has expanded his intention to support others in empowering and expanding their lives by making himself available for corporate clients who would like to see increased productivity in the workplace through the application of the techniques he uses to reduce stress, improve focus, and create clarity.  

He works one on one and also works with groups. Phone consultations and sessions are also possible.
