Rei (Universal) Ki (Life Energy) therapy, is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on method of  healing energy transference.  A milder but also effective form of this type of work used in hospitals is known as Therapeutic Touch.  

200 years ago while studying Buddha's teachings from the 1st century B.C. a monk believed he discovered the keys to healing.  During an intense period of fasting and meditation he reached a point of enlightenment and a state of awareness that revealed practices he had long searched for.   

He developed principles to aid the recipient in taking responsibility for the healing rather than being inactive participants waiting for life to work and solely dependent on the practitioner.   

Reiki is an intelligent subtle energy that is passed through the hands to the recipient, and can also be intentionally sent long distance to a recipient.   See more Reiki info in FAQ
